Business Operations Lead | San Fransico | $200k | SaaS Start Up
Our client is a high growth, VC-backed startup in the electronics / hardware design space. Their platform empowers over 2 million engineers each year to design drones, electric vehicles and satellites up to 10× faster. They are now building the next generation AI-driven product based on a proprietary dataset of over 10 million components, schematic symbols and footprints.
You’ll join a fast-moving, high-velocity environment where you’ll partner directly with the CEO and engineering leadership to fully own product launch operations.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and own detailed project plans: timelines, milestones, resource allocation & risk mitigation.
- Manage multiple concurrent high-stakes launches. Prioritise ruthlessly, clear blockers swiftly.
- Lead agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to keep teams aligned, focused & accountable.
- Validate releases: make sure every product meets specs, stakeholder expectations & excellent UX before launch.
- Partner closely with engineers and product leadership to ensure technical work aligns with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement: enhance dev workflows, tooling and processes to boost speed and quality.
- Monitor post-release performance: coordinate follow-up optimisations and document lessons learned.
Who you are
- A highly autonomous operator: you thrive in ambiguous, high-velocity environments (Seed/Series A startup scale).
- Experience working directly with engineers, creating/reading tickets, comfortable in dev workflows (Linear, Notion, Trello).
- Proven ability juggling multiple complex initiatives, prioritising ruthlessly, hitting aggressive deadlines.
- A strong sense of ownership: you hold teams (including peers & leaders) accountable for commitments.
- You measure success by shipped impact, not by activity.
